Variety description

The tree is of moderate vigor with a broad-pyramidal compact crown and drooping branches, bearing fruit on short spurs. The fruits are flat-round, often knobby, with a weight of 100–180 g. At harvest, the skin is light green, later becoming whitish-waxy or golden-yellow.

The flesh is snow-white, juicy and firm, possessing a wine-sweet taste. The variety is of universal use, suitable for fresh consumption after storage and for processing. Under adverse climatic conditions, it is susceptible to canker and bitter pit of the fruits.
