The tree of this variety has high vigor and forms a spreading crown. The fruit ripening period falls in October–November, sometimes extending into December. The variety is triploid, its pollen is sterile, so other pollinator varieties blooming in mid-season are necessary for fruiting.

The fruits are large, reaching 300 g in weight or 80 mm in diameter, and have a yellow color. The flesh is firm, fine, sweet, and aromatic; when stored in late autumn, it may become mealy. The variety is moderately susceptible to scab and powdery mildew and is prone to premature shedding of the largest fruits.

When grown on dwarfing rootstocks, the fruits become excessively large, which negatively affects their taste qualities. The variety is used as a dessert apple for fresh consumption or culinary processing.
