Variety description

The fruits are of medium or large size, conical or flattened in shape. The skin is grey-brown, rough, with visible grey lenticels and a possible light red blush. The flesh is yellowish-white, firm, juicy, with a sweet-and-sour taste. Harvesting takes place in October; the fruits keep until December, and in refrigerators until March.

The tree grows with moderate intensity; the crown is prone to dense branching and vertical growth. Bearing begins from the third year; the variety is prone to biennial bearing. The variety is triploid and requires the selection of pollinators.

The tree possesses good resistance to scab but is characterized by susceptibility to canker, for which reason it is not recommended for planting on heavy, wet soils. The variety is successfully grown on various types of rootstocks and is suitable for organic gardening.
