The Roogovka variety is a vigorous tree with a spreading crown. The variety is precocious and high-yielding. The fruits ripen in September and are suitable for storage until the end of December.

The fruits are large, weighing 150–200 g, and have a conical or elongated-conical shape with five noticeable ribs. The primary skin color is light yellow, sometimes with a faint blush. The flesh is of medium density, juicy, with a sweet and sour taste. The variety is versatile, suitable for fresh consumption and industrial processing.
