Fruits of the Rožnik (Ilcerjev rožnik) variety are small to medium in size and range in shape from slightly flattened to round. The skin is fully red with dark red stripes.

The variety ripens between mid and late September. The fruits are suitable for processing immediately after harvest, however, with proper storage, they can retain their consumer qualities until February, after which they become suitable for fresh consumption.

The plant belongs to traditional varieties that are under threat of extinction. The variety is characterized by high resistance to diseases.
