The variety is a spontaneous mutant of the Richard Delicious variety. The tree is characterized as semi-dwarf. The fruits have a round-conical or round-oblong shape with a characteristic ribbed apex and a weight of 130–200 g. The fruit surface is bright red, purple in color, often with noticeable light dots. The flesh is cream-colored, firm, juicy, sweet with a slight tartness and aroma.

The variety belongs to the winter group; fruits are harvested in September–October. The crop has high transportability and a long storage life, keeping until May. Fruits do not drop upon ripening. Depending on growing conditions, the variety can be affected by scab, and during storage, it is prone to the development of bitter pit. The main use is for fresh consumption.
