The RUSCAI-O tree has medium vigor. Fruits have an asymmetrical, flattened shape, a thin stalk of medium length, and are visually unattractive. The fruit surface is rough and covered with russeting, which can occupy up to 25% of the area, predominantly in the stalk attachment zone.

The variety is a result of folk selection and is traditionally used as a table apple. The fruits are distinguished by high keeping quality, maintaining their consumer qualities during long-term storage until May.
