Variety of Canadian origin, bred from a seed of a Russian-type apple tree. The tree has an open crown shape and a vertical growth habit, which becomes spreading with age. The plant is characterized by good hardiness and is successfully cultivated in northern winter hardiness zones.

Fruits ripen at the end of August and are suitable for storage for one month. The fruit flesh is white, juicy, translucent in places, and less acidic in taste than the Belyi Naliv variety. The variety is also used as a pollinator for other apple trees.
