The tree has a spreading crown and moderate vigor; the variety is recommended for cultivation in meadow orchards. The variety is characterized as winter hardy, however, it has high susceptibility to apple tree cancer.

The fruits have a blunt-conical shape. The ground color of the skin at maturity is yellow with a red overcolor and stripes. The juicy and crisp flesh has an invigorating sweet-and-sour taste. The variety is primarily used for fresh consumption.
