The Rumba variety is a columnar apple tree with a very narrow, compact crown shape, which allows it to be used for small gardens or creating hedges. The plant is characterized by medium vigor and high precocity, requiring periodic fruit thinning to maintain yields.

The fruits of the variety have a flat-round shape and are covered with a bright red or carmine-red blush on 80% of the yellow-green background. The flesh is described as firm, fine-grained, and juicy. Harvesting takes place in mid-October.

The plant possesses genetic resistance to scab due to the presence of the Vf gene and moderate tolerance to powdery mildew. The fruits of the variety are versatile: they are suitable for fresh consumption, use in the juice industry, and ornamental gardening.
