The variety belongs to the columnar type (stubasta). Local varieties Krstovača, Šumatovka and Bihorka were used in breeding to increase resistance to diseases and pests.

The fruits have a sweet and sour taste and ripen in early September. The variety is suitable for both commercial and amateur cultivation due to the compact size of the tree.
