Variety description

The tree has high vigor, and in the absence of regular pruning, the crown takes on a bush-like shape. Fruiting occurs mainly on spurs and slender shoots. The variety belongs to the red rennet group and shows genetic similarity to the French variety Grenoble.

The medium-sized fruits have smooth, shiny, wine-red skin with lenticels. The flesh is creamy white with a pinkish hue, juicy and fine-grained, with a sweet and sour taste. The harvest takes place in late October or early November; the fruits are characterized by excellent keeping quality.

The variety has high resistance to diseases, including scab. It is suitable for both fresh consumption and processing, and is currently included in biodiversity conservation projects.
