The variety is a natural mutation of the Golden Delicious variety. The tree has medium vigor, a spreading crown, and bears fruit on short spurs.

The fruits are large, weighing 180–200 g, conical in shape, with greenish-yellow skin covered with uniform russeting. The variety possesses genetic resistance to scab (Vf type) and tolerance to other diseases and pests.

The fruits retain their firmness well during cold storage and have high taste qualities, which makes the variety suitable for commercial cultivation.
