Fruits of medium size have a round shape, varying from flattened to conical. The skin is greenish-yellow in color with a dark red blush and pale stripes, characterized as rough. The flesh is white with a greenish tint, juicy and crisp.
The tree grows vigorously, reaching 4–8 meters in height, with spur-type fruiting. The variety is suitable for hardiness zones 5 to 9. The fruits store well for up to 4 months and are used fresh, as well as for culinary preparations and cider.
The variety is prone to scab, very susceptible to powdery mildew, fire blight, and is sensitive to sulfur. Cross-pollination with other varieties from group B is required.
