The fruits are round-flattened in shape with smooth, slightly oily skin of a yellowish-green color with an orange or pale pink blush. The flesh is whitish-green, firm, crisp, and rather dry, with a refreshing sweet-and-sour taste.
Trees show vigorous growth at a young age; the variety is early-bearing. A warm and sunny location is required for the development of high-quality fruits, as the variety is prone to canker in cool and humid conditions. It is self-sterile and requires pollinator varieties.
Harvested fruits have good keeping quality and can be stored for up to six months. The best flavor qualities appear two months after harvest.
