The tree is vigorous, long-lived, and forms a loose pyramidal crown. The variety prefers warm, fertile loamy soils and is well adapted to the climate of Northern Europe. The plant is characterized by susceptibility to scab, and the fruits do not hold firmly on the branches.

The fruits ripen in September and have a flat-globular or truncated-conical, often pentagonal shape. The ground color is greenish-yellow to light yellow, and a reddish-orange blush may appear on the sunny side. The cream-colored flesh is juicy and tender, possessing a fresh aroma with mild acidity.
