Sildig Sandholt Æble is a mid-early variety, with the harvest ripening in the second half of September. The tree is characterized by high yield and good foliage density; genetically, the variety is triploid.

The fruits are large in size with a red-yellow color. The variety exhibits high resistance to the main apple diseases, including scab, powdery mildew, and apple canker, which is confirmed by the absence of infections during long-term observations without the use of chemical protection agents.

Currently, the variety is practically not found in commercial cultivation and is preserved in genetic collections such as Pometet in Denmark. It is used primarily in breeding projects aimed at creating resistant varieties for organic gardening.
