The tree is characterized by vigorous growth, reaching a height of 6–8 meters with a crown width of approximately 4–6 meters. The crown often has a pyramidal, open shape. The variety is long-lived and capable of bearing fruit at a mature age.

Fruits are large, sometimes very large, oblate-spherical or truncated-conical in shape with pronounced ribbing. The skin is smooth, ranging from greenish-yellow to bright yellow, often with a reddish-orange blush. The flesh is creamy white, juicy, fragrant, with a pleasant sweet-and-sour taste.

Harvesting occurs in September to early October; fruits can be stored until December. Fruits are prone to dropping. The variety may be affected by scab; under unfavorable conditions, it is susceptible to powdery mildew and fruit tree canker, and the large fruits are prone to subcutaneous spotting.
