The variety originates from the Kozjansko region in Slovenia. The trees are vigorous and reach a height of 4 to 6 meters. The variety is considered resistant to external factors and is often found in orchards where pesticides are not used.
The fruits are medium to large in size, with an elongated, oval or conical shape. The skin is greenish-yellow with a red blush and dark stripes. The flesh is juicy, brittle, distinguished by a sour taste and pronounced aroma. The fruits are used fresh, for processing into juice, cider, and for making desserts.
