The variety is historically common in the orchards of Slovenia, predominantly in the Kozjansko Park region. Currently, it is classified as a rare variety at risk of extinction and is found only in isolated specimens.
The fruits ripen in late September or early October and are suitable for consumption immediately after harvesting. They have an elongated, "spear-like" shape and light red skin coloration. The flesh of the fruit is yellowish-white, juicy, and aromatic. The variety is versatile and used for fresh consumption and processing.
