The tree is characterized by medium vigor, forms a broadly conical or spherical crown, and requires regular rejuvenating pruning. The fruits have a flat-round shape with noticeable ribbing and smooth, slightly oily skin.

The variety enters into bearing early, but is prone to biennial bearing and requires fruit thinning. It is self-sterile and requires pollinator varieties such as 'Golden Delicious', 'Ontario', or 'Coxova reneta'.

Harvesting is carried out in mid-October, consumer maturity is reached in November, and the shelf life of the fruit is until March–April. The variety shows good resistance to scab, however, it is sensitive to powdery mildew and can be prone to bitter pit.
