The tree is characterized by very vigorous growth; in traditional orchards, it often forms large crowns when using seedling rootstocks. It begins bearing fruit in the 4th–5th year, however, the variety is characterized by pronounced biennial bearing, where abundant yields alternate with years of low yield.

Fruits are medium-sized, having a round or slightly elongated shape. The skin is smooth, light yellow in color with a dark red blush or stripes. The flesh is firm and juicy, the taste is characterized as relatively sweet with a slight acidity. The variety shows resistance to scab and powdery mildew.

The variety is versatile and suitable both for fresh consumption and for various types of processing, including the production of juices, vinegar, jams, and baking. In different regions, it is found under the synonyms Goriška sevka, Tolminka, Brkinka, and Seuš.
