The variety is a rare local cultivar that historically grew in traditional high-stem orchards of the Kozjansko region. At present, the population is critically small, with only one mother tree recorded.

The fruits are small, changing color from green to yellow upon ripening. A characteristic feature is a very long and thin stalk with a closed calyx. The flesh is firm, not juicy, with a sour taste.

The variety belongs to early-maturing types, with the ripening period occurring at the end of August — beginning of September. Due to its qualities, it is not used for commercial purposes and is of primarily genetic and historical value.
