The Spätblühender Taffetapfel variety belongs to the category of autumn apples, the fruits of which are ready for harvest and consumption from October to February. The tree is distinguished by a dense spherical crown and high winter hardiness of the wood. In young age, shoots may be weak, however, they strengthen over time, and the trees themselves show longevity.
A distinctive feature of the variety is the exceptionally late flowering, which occurs in early June, protecting the crop from damage by spring frosts. The variety demonstrates regular and abundant fruiting. The fruits are intended for home use and are well-suited for juice production.
