The variety is a clone of the Red Delicious group. During its introduction into commercial production, it demonstrated certain production drawbacks, which caused difficulties when grown using standard rootstocks, such as M4, and specific canopy management systems, such as the oblique palmette.

Precise morphological characteristics of the fruit and tree, as well as detailed productivity indicators, are not recorded in available materials. To achieve acceptable productivity indicators, the necessity of using virus-free planting material is emphasized.
