Variety description

The variety is a spontaneous bud mutation of the Starking Delicious variety. Trees belong to spur-type forms with shortened internodes; their height depends on the rootstock type and varies from 2.5 to 4.5 m, in some cases reaching 6–8 m.

The fruits have a truncate-conical shape with pronounced ribbing and reach a weight of 140–230 g. An intense dark carmine skin covers light yellow or light green juicy flesh with a low acid content.

The variety has good transportability and is used as a dessert fruit. During cultivation, it requires protection against scab and powdery mildew, as well as monitoring of calcium levels to prevent bitter pit of the fruit.
