Variety description

The variety is a compact tree with shortened internodes and spur-type fruiting. The crown of young trees is obpyramidal, and with age, it acquires a broad-pyramidal or broom-like shape. The leaves are dark green, have a matte surface, and an oblong-ovate shape.

The fruits are large, weighing from 150 to 250 g, have an elongated-conical shape with five ribs and an intense dark red color, often covered with a waxy bloom. The flesh is firm, juicy, fine-grained, with a light green or light yellow shade, having a sweet-sour taste and a pronounced aroma.

The trees enter fruiting 2–3 years after planting and are characterized by high yield. The variety is highly susceptible to scab and canker and requires regular preventive treatments and a high level of agrotechnics. The best pollinators are the Golden Delicious and Gala varieties.
