A tree 5–6 meters tall with a conical crown and drooping lateral branches. Large oval leaves 8–10 cm long possess a gloss; when unfolding they have a bronze shade, in summer they become green with a purple tint, and in autumn they acquire red-brown tones.
Flowering occurs in May or early June; flowers with a diameter of about 4 cm are colored in pink-burgundy or lilac-pink shades. Fruits are small, about 3 cm in diameter, and have an orange-red or carmine-yellow color. The apples are edible and suitable for culinary processing.
The variety is a frost-resistant and winter-hardy plant. Successful cultivation requires fertile, loose, and moist soils, as well as a sunny or semi-shaded location. The fruits ripen in autumn and remain on the branches for a long time.
