The variety belongs to the summer apple group. It is characterized by high resistance to scab (Venturia inaequalis); in a number of observations, it demonstrated an absence of disease symptoms, which allows for its use in organic production.
The variety is a genetic parent of a number of other crops, in particular the Ametyst variety. It is intended for fresh consumption and is suitable for both industrial and amateur cultivation.
