The variety belongs to the northern type with a dormancy index of 4.4–4.6. It is characterized by high productivity and yield stability, as well as increased nutritional value with a crude protein content of approximately 19.4% in dry matter.
The plant possesses resistance to Verticillium wilt and nematodes. On a scale of 1 to 9, lodging resistance is 5.6, resistance to the fungal disease Pseudopeziza is 7.0, and resistance to Verticillium is 6.4.
The variety is intended for the production of hay, haylage, and use in forage mixtures. Seeds are often supplied with 'S.A.S.' coating technology, which includes mycorrhiza, rhizobia, and nutrients to improve establishment.
