The variety was obtained through individual selection from hybrids of Serbian and American lines, including the varieties Vernal and Saranac. The genotype contains a portion of Medicago falcata, which provides adaptability to unfavorable growing conditions.
The plant possesses high productivity: the yield potential of green mass exceeds 80 t/ha, and hay exceeds 20 t/ha. The variety is suitable for less intensive management systems, in particular for a regime of four cuts per year.
