The variety is a tree or large shrub reaching 4–6 meters in height with a wide, spreading or flattened-globular crown and strong scaffold branches. The leaves are large, lanceolate or elliptical, changing color to golden-yellow or reddish-brown in the autumn. Large white flowers bloom in May–June.
The fruits are large, 5–6 cm in diameter, matte brown in color, and ripen in October–November. After harvesting, the fruits require a bletting process, after which they become soft and acquire a sweet-sour taste. The variety is self-fertile, tolerates frosts down to -25...-30 °C, is wind-resistant, and is suitable for solitary planting or hedges.
