Variety description

The NCMS1 variety is a large plant with a height of 1.8 to 2.7 meters with a dense, bushy habit. The foliage is thin, graceful, and arching, green in color. Showy feathery panicles, colored in bronze-copper, pink, or brownish tones, appear from late summer to autumn.
The plant is characterized by drought tolerance after establishment, low maintenance, and resistance to rust, as well as to deer and rabbit browsing. The variety is intended for use in landscape design as an accent plant or for hedges and is recommended for USDA hardiness zones 5–9.
