Variety description

The plant forms a dense, upright clump 100–120 cm high (sometimes up to 150 cm). The leaves are narrow and stiff, featuring 12–17 transverse creamy-yellow stripes on a green background. Inflorescences in the form of fluffy panicles change color from wine-red to silvery-beige and appear from August to October.

The variety prefers sunny sites and fertile, well-drained soils. Winter hardiness corresponds to zones 5–9, withstanding temperatures down to -20 °C. The plant is resistant to lodging provided there is sufficient lighting and tolerates drought moderately with regular watering.
