The variety is characterized by a compact habit. One of the key features are the wine-red panicle inflorescences, creating a "cloud" visual effect, as well as variegated leaves.
The plant is intended for use as a specimen plant, for group plantings, creating borders or low hedges, and is also suitable for growing in containers on terraces.
The variety is winter-hardy, withstanding temperature drops down to -23 °C. The plant is notable for being undemanding regarding soil type and possesses drought tolerance after rooting.
