Variety description

The plant forms dense clumps with broad-linear, arching, dark green leaves with a silvery-white central midrib. In late autumn, the foliage turns a reddish-purple shade. The erect stems have the same purple coloration.
Plant height during the flowering period reaches 100–120 cm, while the leaf mass height is 50–70 cm. Flowering occurs from August to October; inflorescences are red-brown panicles that become silvery over time.
Miscanthus prefers sunny areas and moderately fertile, moist, but well-drained soils; it tolerates partial shade. The plant requires protection from winter waterlogging and is used in landscape design for group plantings, creating borders, or as a specimen plant.
