Variety description

The variety is a perennial rhizomatous herbaceous plant with a dense-bush type of tillering. Plant height reaches 2.0–3.5 m. The plant is characterized by winter hardiness and undemanding soil fertility, recommended for cultivation in the Polissia and Forest-Steppe zones.

As an energy crop, the variety is capable of growing on the same plot for over 20 years, providing an annual biomass yield. Harvesting of the raw material is carried out during the winter period, from December to March, when stem moisture content decreases.
