Variety description

The plant reaches a height of 15–20 cm. Leaves are narrow, linear, of a saturated green color. Inflorescences are large, measuring 6–8 cm, consisting of tightly packed snow-white flowers, sometimes with a light greyish bloom on the buds.

Flowering occurs in April–May. The variety is distinguished by winter hardiness corresponding to USDA zones 4–8, and low maintenance. The plant is suitable for use in rockeries, on lawns, for container cultivation and forcing, and is capable of naturalization. It prefers sunny or semi-shaded areas with well-drained soil.
