The variety belongs to the Flue-cured Virginia group and is known as a local Bulgarian variety. Studies confirm its high quality potential, evaluated by nicotine, sugar, and nitrogen content, as well as by smoking sensory properties.
Morphologically, the variety is distinguished by large leaves, with a maximum area reaching 609 cm² under experimental conditions. Modifications of this variety with the male sterility trait exist.
The agrotechnical characteristics of the variety directly depend on nitrogen and potassium fertilizer application rates, which influence plant height, leaf dimensions, and the final biochemical composition of the tobacco raw material.
