The variety belongs to the "common" sainfoin type and is characterized by early flowering times, occurring primarily during the first cut. The plant has a longevity of up to 4–5 years, forms thin stems and a deep taproot system, which contributes to improving soil structure.

The plant is well adapted to growing on dry, rocky, and calcareous soils. Forage based on this variety contains condensed tannins, which promote efficient protein absorption and limit the development of gastrointestinal parasites in animals.

The variety is used as a high-quality forage crop for grazing, hay, haylage, or silage production. It is also a valuable honey plant.
