The plant is a climbing form of bean that requires supports and reaches a height of 180–190 cm. The variety belongs to the mid-early maturity group and is characterized by vigorous growth.

The pods have fleshy valves and a white-red color with characteristic streaks and spots. Inside the pod, 6–7 large seeds with a variegated pattern typically mature. The variety belongs to the shelling category, but is suitable for fresh consumption while the pods remain tender.

The origin of the variety is associated with the Lamon region in the province of Belluno, Italy. The product is used fresh, frozen, or dried; the dense texture of the seeds makes them a sought-after ingredient for soups and traditional dishes.
