The plant is a bush bean 40–60 cm in height. The pods are 12–14 cm long and have a characteristic variegated coloring in the form of red or crimson stripes and spots on a light background. Each pod contains on average about 6 seeds, which also have a variegated pattern.

The variety belongs to the late-maturing category and requires a sufficient amount of heat and protection from wind for full ripening. The main purpose of the crop is the production of dry seeds, which are distinguished by a soft texture, a nutty flavor, and high protein content.
