Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety was derived from the old Champagne cultivar through crossing with field pea forms. It belongs to winter crops intended for autumn sowing and is characterized by restrained growth in the autumn period and narrow leaves.

The variety was actively used in scientific research, in particular for evaluating trypsin inhibitor content and studying feed value for farm animals. In modern agronomy, it is more often found in genetic collections than in industrial production.
