The variety belongs to the landrace category and is a dwarf plant, about 70 cm tall, of the semi-leafless type, which usually does not require the installation of supports. The flowers of the plant have a purple or reddish hue.
The seeds in dry form are distinguished by their reddish-brown color and wrinkled surface. The pods have a green color, which distinguishes this variety from Capucijners with blue-violet pods. It is traditionally used as dried peas for preparing various dishes.
