The variety Keeneland, also appearing in documentation under the experimental code A04-342, is a specialized turfgrass. Its characteristics were confirmed during trials of the National Turfgrass Evaluation Program (NTEP).

The plant possesses pronounced resistance to trampling and diseases characteristic of the species, such as rust and summer patch. The quality indicators of the turf formed by this variety correspond to modern breeding standards.
