The plant is the result of a cross between Poa pratensis and Poa arachnifera. The variety is characterized by medium-green color and leaf texture, resembling standard Kentucky bluegrass varieties. In scientific classification, it is defined as a hybrid bluegrass.

The variety possesses increased resistance to high temperatures and drought, but is prone to rust and leaf spot, which may require fungicidal treatment. Stand density in the first year after seeding may be uneven, and thinning of the turf is possible during periods of severe summer stress.

The primary application is for landscaping lawns, recreational areas, and sports fields in transition climate zones where common cool-season grass species do not show sufficient effectiveness.
