The variety belongs to the category of Kentucky bluegrass. In professional literature, it is sometimes mentioned in lists of hybrids (Texas x Kentucky Bluegrass hybrids), however, in most reports, it is classified as standard Kentucky bluegrass.

The variety is characterized by high rates of establishment when laying turf and stable sod quality. During studies, it demonstrated resistance to diseases, including leaf spot (Drechslera poae).
