The tree of the variety «Alex» is characterized by moderately vigorous growth; the crown shape varies from spreading to upright. In New Zealand conditions, fruit ripening occurs at the end of summer, starting in early February.
Fruits are medium in size, with a bright orange color and a pink-red blush. The flesh is firm and has a sweet taste.
