The variety is an old, non-selected culture that originated through seed propagation. The tree is characterized as vigorous and hardy; historically, the use of espaliers was recommended for cultivation in unfavorable conditions. The plant prefers moist, well-drained soils.
The spherical fruits reach 8 cm in diameter and have golden-yellow skin with carmine spots and a pubescent surface. The yellow-orange flesh is distinguished by its juiciness, sweet taste with a vinous undertone, and a slight bitterness. The pit is flat and large. Fruit ripening occurs at the end of July or mid-August.
Due to its firm consistency and specific taste, the variety is mainly used in cooking. It is considered one of the best options for making candied fruits, marmalades, jams, and preserves. In modern industrial horticulture, the variety is practically not used and has collector value.
