The variety is a hybrid obtained as a result of crossing Blenheim and Riland varieties. The tree is vigorous, productive, and self-fertile. Fruits of medium size have a light orange ground color with an intense blush.

Fruit flesh is firm, orange-yellow in color, possesses high taste qualities, and the pit separates easily. The variety matures approximately 10 days before the Blenheim variety.

The plant is sensitive to spring frosts. Under certain conditions, susceptibility to bacterial spot caused by Xanthomonas pruni has been recorded.
